4 Week Program
The Beginner’s Class is an in-depth 4-week program to introduce new students beginning their jiu jitsu journey. The Beginner’s Class will teach the foundation movements as well as basic concepts and techniques with other newer students who are similar in skill level. This class is designed for beginners and focuses primarily on technique ensuring that our students can execute the movements properly and safely. Students will need to perform an assessment before moving onto the Fundamentals Class.
16 Week Curriculum
The Fundamentals class is developed on a 16-week curriculum. The intensity in the Fundamentals class is increased, and students focus on learning self-defense skills that go beyond jiu-jitsu and all aspects of life. We take a systematic approach that makes learning fun and easy to understand. You will learn the basic movements, positions, and concepts that are essential to jiu-jitsu. Having a strong understanding and execution of fundamental techniques will forge a foundation that will carry you throughout your jiu-jitsu journey and beyond. After the 16-week curriculum, students will need to perform an assessment before moving onto the Advanced Class.
16 Week Curriculum
The Advanced Class is an intensive 16-week curriculum developed by Master Cyborg where we teach higher level of technique and complex sequences allowing the students to take their game to the next level. The high-intensity advanced class is programmed to push our students to new heights with competition level sparring and enabling you to put your knowledge to practice.
No-Gi program is comprised of a combination of Brazilian jiu-jitsu and wrestling principles without the use of a traditional kimono. Students will build a strong foundation and improve their take downs and apply submissions to their opponent who are not wearing a Gi. Classes consists of applying Brazilian jiu-jitsu, wresting techniques, mixed martial arts, drilling, and sparring. This class is excellent way to enhance your jiu-jitsu. Students must wear a Fight Sports no-gi uniform to participate in these classes.
Women’s Only Class
The purpose of the Women’s only program is to allow females to train with other females due to preference. The Women’s martial arts program is designed to teach women to defend against any attacker even those who are significantly larger. Students will simulate realistic attack and escape situations you might encounter in the real world. We take a systematic approach to self-defense, rape prevention, and improve your strength and conditioning in a safe environment with like-minded women.
Our Competition Program is designed specifically to prepare students for high-level competition. Not everyone chooses to compete, but for those who do, this class is for you! This is a rigorous, high-intensity 2-hour training program and is guaranteed to help students feel confident and prepared for their upcoming competition. This program is offered to all belt levels, but by invitation only.
ALL AGES WELCOME
Open Mat training is designed to allow students to work on their curriculum, and practice areas of their jiu-jitsu game. Open Mat is a perfect time to practice and prepare for an upcoming belt test or competition in a non-instructed format.
This class is open to all members of any rank and age group, and visitors are welcome.
All Ages Welcome
Private lessons are available to all academy members and visitors. This is a great way for more concentrated instruction, tailored to your individual needs and experience level. Students will have the opportunity for more in-depth exploration of techniques and positional study in a more exclusive learning environment.
Please note that all private lessons must be scheduled in advance and limited to 4 participants. All schedule changes and cancellations should be coordinated with your instructor. No shows will result in loss of that private lesson.
